Effortlessly Copy & Paste Games On Roblox
Ever wished you could quickly copy and paste your favorite Roblox games? While Roblox doesn't natively support this feature, we've got some clever workarounds to help you replicate and share your games with ease.
Understanding Roblox Game IDs
Before we dive into copying and pasting games, let's understand what a Roblox Game ID is. It's a unique identifier for each game on Roblox. You can find it in the game's URL, like this: https://www.roblox.com/games/1234567890. The numbers after /games/ are the Game ID.
Copying a Roblox Game
To copy a Roblox game, you'll need to use a third-party tool called 'Roblox Game Importer & Exporter' by RbxAPI. Here's how:
- Install the tool: Download and install the tool from the RbxAPI GitHub page.
- Launch the tool: Open the tool and log in to your Roblox account.
- Import the game: Click on 'Import Game', enter the Game ID, and click 'Import'.
- Save the game: Once imported, click 'Save' to save the game to your account.
Pasting (Replicating) a Roblox Game
Now that you've copied the game, let's replicate it.
- Open the game: In the tool, click on the game you just saved and then click 'Open'.
- Rename the game: To differentiate it from the original, click 'Rename' and give it a new name.
- Publish the game: Click 'Publish' to make your replicated game live on Roblox.
Copying & Pasting Game Places
You can also copy and paste individual game places within Roblox using the same tool. Here's how:
- To copy a place: Select the place in the tool, right-click, and click 'Export Place'.
- To paste a place: Right-click in the tool, click 'Import Place', and select the exported place file.
Remember, copying and pasting games or places doesn't give you the original creator's assets or script functionality. You'll need to recreate or obtain those separately.
Happy copying and pasting, Robloxians!
